Advocacy and Participation

Team Wrong way participates in many activities that benefit mountain biking in the Bay Area of California. Many of the members of TWW have affiliations with other clubs and organizations in the Bay Area.

You can't be a hub member without getting involved and making cycling better for the community.

Since its inception Team Wrong Way has volunteered well in excess of 1,000 hours at various parks in the Bay Area (Soquel Demonstration Forest, Joaquin Miller, Santa Teresa, Wilder Ranch, Quicksilver, Mt. Diablo, and many others).

TWW Makes Huge Contribution at Turning Wheels for Kids Bike Build

Team Wrong Way and many other volunteers teamed up with Turning Wheels for Kids to help build 1,000 bikes in a day.

We did the more complex bikes (with gears and hand brakes) because of our expertise.

It was an incredible event - amazing to see so many people working towards a great cause.

We'll definitely be there again!

Trips For Kids

Because all kids should be able to go out and have fun on a bike!

Trips for Kids Marin is a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit that provides mountain bike outings and environmental education for kids that would not otherwise be exposed to these types of activities.

Our goal is to combine lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness through development of practical skills and the simple act of having fun.

The Trips for Kids Re-Cyclery program focuses on recycling used bikes and bike parts through its thrift store and provides job-training programs for youth. These recycled bikes provide safe, environmentally friendly and affordable transportation for both children and adults.
